About Grassland Beef

Our Story:

What began as participation in rodeos at a young age evolved into raising cattle, making jerky at home, and finally producing jerky for the marketplace. As an active family, training and competing in fitness sports, we desired a healthy protein-rich snack, which resulted in making our own jerky. Then came the idea to produce it on a larger scale. By utilizing a local USDA processing facility, Grassland Beef jerky goes from grazing cattle to a packaged product within less than 50 miles.

  • Use local resources to benefit people in our own community and yours.

Why Grassland Beef:

We live it. From health to range management, animal selection to distribution, we have our hands on every aspect of the process. We fix the fences, load the cattle in the dark, haul them to the processor, and send the products to our customers. Our beef is American bred and raised and 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.

From the Founder:

As a father, one of my goals is to raise my children in an atmosphere in which they are rewarded for their work. Raising livestock has provided ample opportunities for the discipline of work, which in itself is rewarding, and now producing and selling our own jerky brings a tangible reward. It brings us joy to be able to provide clean and honest products for others as well as ourselves. We truly hope you enjoy our products, and if so, please spread the word!

Future Plans:

With planned future improvements, the quality will stay the same! As we expand our team and reach we will grow our herds, community and brand. This forward movement will be fueled by our team, with a passion to provide great products for people like you.
